ADMISSION
All children whose parents are members of Cathedral, Holy Rosary, our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Sacred Heart, Saint Mark, Saint Mary, or Saint Therese of the Child Jesus parishes are eligible for admission to Altoona Central Catholic School. Children from other parishes will be accepted at per-pupil cost. Children of other religious denominations will be accepted on a space available basis at the per- pupil cost.
Preschool through 8th Grade: The admissions process is as follows:
- We invite you to come and tour our schools and see for yourself the excellent, challenging & nurturing environment of our school.
- A completed application form is the first step in the process, along with the appropriate application fee submitted to the office. (2011-2012 School Year Tuition Form)
- A copy of a birth certificate, immunization records, and a current report card will be needed.
- The Second Century Fund was established to receive tax credits from companies through the Pennsylvania Department of Economic and Community Development and create a scholarship fund for private school students. This tuition assistance program is managed by the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese for all students attending Catholic Elementary Schools including preschool.

- All information, academic & financial, will be forwarded to the principal and you will be called for an appointment to discuss acceptance and any financial matters. If accepted for enrolment, you will be given information on payment options and will be asked to fill out registration and payment forms.
